We hope to see you there and please help us spread the word:

WHEN:  Saturday April 25 2026 
We will start selling tickets at 7:00 AM at the North End of Coffenbury Lake. Derby ends at 2:00 PM with raffle for any remaining prizes for unused tickets.
HOW:  Buy as many tickets as you like for $10 each - catch one of the 75 lunker color-tagged trout that will be swimming in the lake.  Bring it up to Derby Headquarters (a table at the north end of the lake by the parking lot), and you can claim a prize based on the color of the tag.  At the end of the derby, unused tickets can be put in the drawing for remaining prizes!
WHY:  Fisheries Technology is the culminating class in a two-year Aquatic Biology Program. We have reared some gorgeous 3-4 lb. rainbow trophy trout in our on-campus ponds as a part of our hands-on Career and Technical Education Program. All funds raised will go towards the Eldon Korpela Fisheries Scholarship, an award that goes to an outstanding senior planning on a natural resources career.
We are in the process of getting  prizes and sponsors. If you feel that this is a valuable cause and wish to support it, we greatly appreciate any items you can donate for derby prizes.
