Our Woodland Wonders Nature/Art Journaling Retreat is a three-night women’s escape designed to slow your pace, spark creativity, and reconnect you with the beauty of the natural world. Guests will enjoy a cozy stay at The Benninghofen House, a historic Queen Anne Victorian boutique hotel in charming Hamilton, Ohio, and spend unhurried days at Rocky Hollow, a private homestead filled with woods, winding trails, a peaceful creek, waterfalls, and blooming gardens.

At the heart of the retreat is a hands-on, creative junque journaling workshop, led by the beloved Junque Journaling Queens from Front Room on 7th. You’ll learn a variety of techniques for crafting your own nature-inspired journal, using gathered treasures, layered textures, and ideas borrowed from the landscape around you. Each day blends guided creative time with forest wandering, trail exploring, and space to simply breathe and be.

The weekend is thoughtfully nourished with delicious homemade meals, including a memorable evening of pizza baked in the backyard brick oven at The Benninghofen House. Between fresh air adventures, creative play, and cozy evenings, you’ll find plenty of time for rest, connection, and quiet joy.
