Nitrox Diver Course is an entry level course for divers wishing to continue their diver education and utilize enriched air Nitrox as a breathing gas to extend no decompression limits at depth.
Who this course is for:
The open water diver who is interested in learning more about Nitrox mixtures
The open water diver who is interested in extending their bottom time. The certified diver who has interest in moving forward with technical diving education.
What you can expect to learn:
The benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from 22 through 40 percent oxygen content
Equipment considerations, cylinder labeling, analyzing Nitrox mixtures, and gas blending procedures
What’s in it for you?
Ability to dive utilizing Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN)-22 to Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN)-40 without direct supervision.
Ability to enroll in Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures courses.
Nitrox Diver minimum requirements:
*Demonstrate understanding of Equivalent Air Depth calculations
Perform oxygen analysis for Nitrox mixtures.
*Satisfactorily complete the Nitrox e-learning course and written examination.

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training
The Emergency First Response® Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course combines flexible online self-study and in-person training. It's your course at your pace. Practice a skill until you feel confident before moving on to the next one.
Step 1
PADI eLearning
Online training makes it easy to fit a CPR and first aid course into a busy schedule. Watch videos of different first aid techniques and learn what steps to take in an emergency. Study online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions.
eLearning time commitment:2-4 hours
Step 2
With Your Instructor:
Learn eight essential skills for helping others in an emergency. Get hands-on experience administering CPR using a special manikin, practice bandaging and splinting, and apply your new skills in a role-playing scenario.
Total time commitment: 2-4 hours

How to Start Emergency Oxygen Provider Training
Complete Emergency Oxygen Provider eLearning, then meet with your instructor for skill development and practical application. You'll learn about dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen.

Step 2
With Your Instructor:
You’ll practice assembling and disassembling oxygen equipment for a quick response in an emergency. Your instructor will teach you how to deploy a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver. You’ll also learn how to attach a rescue breathing mask to an oxygen unit to resuscitate a non-breathing diver.
