Romeo + Juliet Reader's Theater

Shakespeare's classic (slightly abridged for time) performed as a reader's theater.
Auditions: March 29, 2026 at 7 PM
Show date: April 18, 2026 at 7 PM.

The show is free general seating with a recommended donation of $5/person. It is accompanied by a bake sale fundraiser.

Reader's Theater productions are a great way to dip back into the performing arts without a huge time commitment. There are 4-6 rehearsals and one performance. No (or almost no) memorization required. The show has all of the fun of a regular production: costumes, sfx, lighting, and dramatic production value, without all of the stress and time commitment.

Roles available for 20 men/women, character ages 16-70. Primary requirements are 1.) the ability to read out loud, and 2.) an excitement and willingness to perform!
