Event Details:
Date: Saturday 22nd December | 10:00am - 2:00pm
Location: Rainbow Hub Waikato | Lvl 1 | 36 Bryce Street
Age: All ages (13 and under with parental supervision)
Community Space:
In the community space we will have board and card games, snacks and refreshments, and all the Christmas music and cheer you could ask for! This is a safe space and anyone respectful of our community is welcome. 🥰
You can also get a photo with Santa from 11:00am - 1:00pm - Bring your phone and get a photo with Santa! Photo's are free however a gold coin or online koha to Rainbow Hub Waikato would be received with aroha. 🎅🏼
Event Space:
In the event space we are holding a mini Christmas market with some epic stalls!
1: Gift Wrapping by Adrian - Hamilton Pride Committee Member: Bring in your presents (2 max per person) and you can either have them wrapped or have a wrapping demonstration on wrapping tips and tricks. $5.00 for 2 presents. 🎁
2: Face Painted with The Painted Pixie: Clare is your local face painting pixie, bringing some joy (and glitter) to your events. Get your face painted at a generous community rate of only $5.00 per person. 🎨
3: Flash Sale with Calilou's Tattoos: Flash is out, loud, and proud, with a selection of cute, spicy, weird, and wonderful designs ready to go. Pick your vibe and get tattooed on the spot! Tattoos range from $100–$150, and we are accepting Eftpos, Afterpay, and cash to keep things easy for everyone. We’ve also got stickers, sparkly bits, and free goodies because the community deserves treats. Come through, choose your flash, hype your friends, and leave a little more inked than you arrived! 🩷
4: The Fox's Trousers: The Fox’s Trousers is a queer family owned business built on our interest in biology and puzzles. We aim to educate, fascinate or help you to remember your pet, your way. Whether you’re after a skull, a full skeleton or a very specific thing involving the cleaning of bones we can help! We are also the exclusive retailers of crocheted items handmade by the Fox's Mum. Come in, check out their stall, and buy that last minute Christmas gift! ☠️
Registration: Register is not compulsory, however it is preferred to ensure our team can are prepared for how many people are coming, so that we have enough kai, and can provide enough resources. For everyone that registers by 5:00pm on Thursday the 18th of December, you'll go in the draw to win a Christmas Prize Pack! 🎉
