- **Event Description**: This is an invitation to join Lionheart Eaglespirit, Canadian First Nations Medicine Man, on a sacred sound journey with the indigenous drum and Native chants, welcoming in Winter around the fire in the sacred womb of the Earth Mother, at a private location on the outskirts of Hamilton!❄️?? ? 

In Native Traditions, the drum and fire are at the heart of ritual, ceremony, dance & journeying. The drumbeat is the heartbeat of the Earth Mother, the rumble of molten rock and lava, and the voice of Creator. The drumbeat lifts the veil between our world of the living and the spirit world, acting as a bridge between these two worlds, connecting us to the Sacred Mystery / Great Spirit / Creator.?
 
In Indigenous Teachings, Winter represents the Spirit of The North on the Sacred Medicine Wheel, which is all about hibernation, going within, retreating into sacredness and embracing introspection. (Bear Spirit is the guardian of the Wintery North?). Winter is also the intellectual aspect of the human condition and invites us to go within and deep into thought for new ideas.

Preparation & What to Expect:

Make sure you have a personal cleansing ritual (refreshing shower) beforehand, and no heavy meal for hours before the event (It is preferred fasting or a light meal at most). 

Doors will open from 6:00 pm for a sharp 6:30pm start. No latecomers will be allowed in after 6:30pm (in respect of the sacred space created during the ceremony). 

Upon arrival, you will be smudged with Canadian Sweetgrass as the Sacred Medicine of The North for cleansing and blessing. There will be an opportunity afterwards for sharing and Q&A with Lionheart, while the Sacred Eagle Feather is passed around the sacred circle. ? ?
