Matariki: Create & Kōrero has been designed as two connected experiences within the Hamilton Gardens Pavilion, allowing everyone to be part of the day in a way that suits them.

Pakihi & Toi Space (FREE Public Experience) - Open to all visitors, this public space will feature:
• Curated pakihi Māori stalls
• Matariki fashion and art installations
• Sounds and atmosphere
• Opportunities to browse, connect and support Māori creatives

No ticket is required for the Pakihi & Toi Space.

Gather & Create Space (Ticketed Experience) - A limited-capacity immersive Matariki experience including:
• Hands-on jewellery or wearable adornment workshop
• Light catering and grazing kai
• Shared kōrero inspired by Matariki
• Storytelling, sustainability and remembrance
• Take-home pieces that you design and create yourself

Tickets are required for the Gather & Create Space as materials, facilitation and catering are provided. Spaces are limited.
