There are plenty of pats and cuddles on offer. If you fall head over paws same-day adoptions are available (please bring along photos of your property’s fences gates and outdoor areas) and pre-approved applicants can also collect their greyhound.Chat with our teamJoin us at 9.30am for greyhound cuddles pats and to speak to our friendly GAP team about all thing’s greyhounds. If you’re thinking about adopting or fostering health or behaviour we can answer all your questions.We’re offering both pre-matched and on the day adoptions:Pre-matched meet and greets:Complete our online adoption form before the event telling us about your home and lifestyle. We’re keen to make sure we can find you and your family the perfect match.The GAP team will review your application and match you with greyhound/s that best suit your needs.Then all that's left to do is meet your potential new best friend at the event.On the day adoptions:Take photos of your backyard and fencing to help us process your application on the day.Join us at the event and chat with the GAP team about your family home and lifestyle.We'll introduce you to some of our adoptable greyhounds and if you meet a greyhound you just can't leave without you can complete an application and adopt on the day.Remember you’ll need photos of your backyard and fencing. We’ll help you complete the necessary paperwork on the day of the meet and greet. Please note. If you already have a dog or cat ‘on the day adoptions’ are not available. The GAP team must first arrange a suitable match and will schedule a meet and greet at another time so your current dog and potential adopted greyhound can meet for the first time. Unfortunately we are unable to conduct first dog to dog meet and greets at the event. For homes with cats greyhounds are placed in a foster-to-adopt program to ensure compatibility between the animals.Not ready yet?
