Welcome to the 2026 season for Hamilton Old Boys Junior Rugby Club!
We will be kicking off our season with three weigh-in dates, all being held at our HOB club rooms, on Willoughby Street, Whitiora. First Weigh-in date is Thursday 5th March (5.30pm - 7.00pm), followed by a second weigh-in date on Sunday 8th March (12.00pm - 2.00pm) and our final weigh-in on Tuesday 10th March (5.30pm - 7.00pm).
All boys and girls, from ages 4-13 years old (Year 8 at school), are welcome.
All NZ Rugby clubs and schools have moved to Rugby Xplorer.
To register your child to play this year you will need to create a profile. More information how to do this can be found here:

You will need to register yourself, and then create profiles for each child. This must be done prior to your attendance at weigh in.

If your child/ren are new to our club, please bring a copy of their birth certificate or passport with you to the weigh-in, as we are required to hold this on file.
Please note, attending a weigh-in is a compulsory requirement of the Waikato Central Junior Rugby, and if only an online registration is completed with no attendance to a weigh-in, then your child will not be placed in a team and any fees paid will be refunded.
If you would like to make a request for your child to be placed in a particular team, these will only be considered if a formal request is sent to

Subs can be paid to the bank account details mentioned below or can be paid by eftpos at weigh-in. A payment plan option for fees is also available (options for $5 ,$10 or $20 per week). Fees for the 2026 season are as detailed below
Fees paid PRIOR to Muster (Including Muster Day - Sunday 12th April)
- $80 First child
- $60 for every sibling there after
Fees paid AFTER Muster
- $90 First child
- $70 for every sibling there after
We will be doing a gear-drive so if you have any boots or HOB clothing that no longer fits your children, we would be grateful for you to please bring them to weigh-in, to donate, so we can make then available for purchase ($5 per item) at our muster.
