Join us for our next French Film Night on Tuesday, June 9 at 8:00 pm at BUEI for a screening of Le Retour (Homecoming), directed by Catherine Corsini and released in 2023.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Corsica, the film follows Khédidja, a woman in her forties working for a wealthy Parisian family, who is offered the chance to spend the summer caring for their children. For Khédidja, this becomes an unexpected return to the island she left fifteen years earlier with her daughters, Jessica and Farah, after tragic circumstances.

A moving story of memory, family, identity, and returning to the places that shaped us. Because apparently films can make us feel things, despite our best efforts.
