Now that you have your first bees and hive(s) setup, you probably have lots of questions or need help. Without a program or successful experience, your bees could swarm, suffer pest infestation and or not be setup to produce any honey; ultimately wasting time and money.
Daniel Kneblewski will share and teach you how to manage and keep your bees from the summer season and setting yourself up for success in the fall and winter seasons ahead. This local and custom program is based on the Ontario Beekeeping Manual, experiences gained from master beekeepers and breeders, and Daniel’s 7 years of experience. In this 2 hour class Daniel goes over the following:
After completing this class, you will know where you stand with your bees, the risks ahead, the growth potential, and honey harvest potential. If you already have a hive this spring, it is highly recommended you take the advance course as we go over more details on overwintered colonies.
In this class, Daniel will present a comprehensive slideshow and perform example inspections with an empty hive. Be prepared to take notes. A digital copy of the slides will be provided by to each student after the class.
