We're bringing in Aleks and Dina from Toronto to learn all about Balboa! Aleks and Dina have been swing dancing since 2013 and 2016. They have travelled around the world to participate in dance competitions and are dedicated organizers, teachers and dancers in the Toronto Swing dance scene. They bring a wealth of knowledge on Balboa, and emphasize connection and creating space for their partner.

June 6th: Balboa Basics - Learn the fundamentals of Balboa and get comfortable dancing with a partner.
June 13th: Balboa Plus - Build on your basics and learn how to improvise for the social dance floor.

Balboa is a a smooth, upright swing dance that originated in Southern California during the 1920s and 30s, designed for crowded dance floors and generally danced to faster tempos. Get ready to fall in love with this classy and smooth dance!
