100 years of Blessing, 50 years of belonging
The Bible reminds us that we are living stones, being built into a spiritual house to offer spiritual sacrifices to God through Jesus Christ.
Although the Anglican Church of Bermuda has had a presence since its discovery in 1609 with parish churches across the Island operating not long thereafter, 100 years ago it had its first resident Bishop as a distinct Diocese. 50 years ago, with the passing of the Church of England in Bermuda Act 1975 – we shifted from being the Church of England in Bermuda – the established church to becoming the Anglican Church of Bermuda.
To mark these two events in our history we will be holding a service of praise and worship – inviting the whole diocese to come to the Cathedral to sing songs of praise to God. This survey is sent out to the whole membership asking you to indicate your top 3 three favorite hymns or songs from this list or to include others not listed.
