2020 RC Drift Waikato Champs
We are hosting the RC Drift Waikato Champs again for 2020, along with the HRCCC, on the 22nd - 23rd of August 2020.
The aim of the event is to have FUN and give all entrants as many qualifying battles as possible. This gives everyone a chance to shake the nerves and have a good time. We welcome all levels of drifters so come along to one of the biggest local RC Drift events of the year!
The event will run for both days with qualifying taking place on the Saturday along with the Shell Show & Shine comp. Any remaining qualifying will take place on Sunday morning before we get into the finals and prizegiving. There will also be plenty of track time and practice along with a trophy for the Top Qualifier.
The cost per person is $55 which covers entry into both competitions and the venue entry fee for both days (also goes towards trophies, prizes, track costs, etc).
Entries close the 31st of July 2020 but it would be much appreciated if payment can be made asap so we can ensure we have sufficient numbers to hold the event. Please PM @[100004411632652:2048:Jimi van Garderen] for payment/registration details.
Big thanks to our judges @[100003621911840:2048:Justin] & @[100007031551384:2048:Ben] who have once again put their hands up to help us all out.
This event would not be possible without our sponsors: Frankton Model Shop, Hobby Station, Yokomo & Zero Fire. More sponsors may be jumping on board so will keep you all updated.
Like last year there will be the D1 Open Class and a Shell Show & Shine comp, see below for details:
D1 Open Class:

- 10.5t motor

I have probably missed some details but once i have a few more registered entrants a private chat group will be set up as a forum for any other queries and updates.
