Sleeping Giant State Park is an iconic park in Connecticut lore. Known for its amazing views of the surrounding landscape, Sleeping Giant offers a variety of trails. Near the entrance to the park is the Tower Trail, a mostly smooth carriage road ascending 600'+ in 1.5 miles to the top of the park to the Observation Tower. The race will be solely up and down the tower trail with a short section off the main trail at the start/end of each loop. 8 Hour/4 Hour options will give you a choice of how many times you think you can complete the trek up to the tower and back.
