Swing in den Popcharts, das hatte es noch nie gegeben. Eine Tragödie, dass dieser fantastische Sänger nur 47 Jahre alt werden durfte. Sein viel zu früher Tod war ein Schock für alle Fans, Kollegen, Familie und Freunde. 2026 jährt sich Roger Ciceros Todestag nun zum zehnten Mal. Anlass genug für die ehemaligen Mitstreiter aus seiner Band, sich musikalisch an die gemeinsamen Zeiten zu erinnern und das Publikum mit auf eine Zeitreise zu nehmen - auch in die Jahre vor „Männersachen“ und mit Swing, Soul, Groove und natürlich dem powervollen Big Band-Sound unter der bewährten Leitung und mit den Arrangements von Tastenzauberer Lutz Krajenski. Als Sänger konnte der wunderbare Atrin Madani gewonnen werden, Berliner Musiker aus einer jungen Generation fantastischer Jazzkünstler, die dieses Genre auf eindrucksvolle Weise neu erfinden und sich doch auch der Tradition verpflichtet fühlen. Madani, den Ciceros Musik musikalisch mitgeprägt hat, interpretiert die Songs auf seine ganz eigene Art und Weise und verbeugt sich damit, gemeinsam mit Ciceros ehemaliger Begleitband, vor einem Musiker, der in der kurzen Zeit seines Lebens so viele Menschen glücklich machte.
