Die in Aachen gegründete Band besteht seit 1991 in unterschiedlichen Formationen. Mittlerweile setzt sich IN CONTACT aus Gründungsmitglied Stefan Lee und Wolfgang Bier zusammen.

Die Hamburger stehen für melodiösen Synthie-Pop in all seinen Facetten. Mit geschickten Anleihen ihrer Vorbilder wie Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys und New Order haben sie inzwischen ihren ganz eigenen Sound entwickelt. Mal düster melancholisch, mal mit treibenden poppigen Beats unterlegt.

Die 1980er Jahre brachten schrille Farben, revolutionäre Technologie und den einzigartigen Klang des Synthpop. Inspiriert von dieser Dekade, gründeten die Künstler Green und Blue 2020 die Band "Chroma Neon".

Ihr Ziel war es, die Essenz der schillernden 80er Jahre in ihrem Sound einzufangen. Ihr Debütalbum "Between Man & Machine" verbindet die elektronische Seele jener Zeit mit modernen Einflüssen und ist auf allen gängigen Plattformen wie z.B. Spotify und Apple Music verfügbar. Anfangs trat Chroma Neon in LED-beleuchteten Bühnen-Outfits auf, um die Anonymität zu wahren. Die Musik sollte immer im Vordergrund stehen. Doch bald erkannten sie, dass eine engere Verbindung zum Publikum notwendig ist, und gaben ihre Identitäten preis. Chroma Neon ist eine Hommage an die 80er Jahre und reflektiert die Leidenschaft für diese Ära in jedem Ton. Ihre Reise hat gerade erst begonnen, und ihre neon beleuchteten Melodien werden sicherlich die Herzen der Musikliebhaber weltweit erobern.
