Joanne Shaw Taylor zählt längst zu den prägenden Stimmen des modernen Bluesrock. Mittlerweile, mit bereits zehn Alben im Rücken, hat sich Joanne zu einer der begehrtesten Gitarristinnen im Rockbereich entwickelt. Ihr zehntes und aktuelles Album wurde von Kevin Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden) produziert und auf Bonamassa’s Label Journeyman Records veröffentlicht.

Über die Jahre konnte sich die britische Gitarristin und Sängerin als dynamische und einflussreiche Kraft in der Welt des Blues-Rock etablieren. „Black & Gold“ festigte ihren Status als eine der wichtigsten britischen Blues-Rock-Exporte.
