Soulkitchen Funkfood Festival 2026 – Warm-Up & exklusiver Vinyl Release
Bevor das Soulkitchen Funkfood Festival am 11. Juli 2026 die Reeperbahn mit Funk, Soul und Global Groove übernimmt, gibt es bereits ein besonderes Highlight für alle Vinyl-Liebhaber:
Am 9. Juli von 17:00 bis 19:00 Uhr lädt Soulkitchen zur exklusiven Instore-Session im Groove City Recordstore ein. Dort wird erstmals die neue Compilation „SOULKITCHEN – FUNKFOOD Original Raw Soul Part 1/3“ präsentiert und verkauft. Die erst im September 2026 offiziell erscheinende und streng limitierte Vinyl-Veröffentlichung vereint rare Originalaufnahmen und bislang nie auf Vinyl erschienene Tracks von Künstlern wie Bobby Byrd, Vicki Anderson, Eddie Bo, Lonnie Liston Smith, Roy Ayers und vielen weiteren Funk- und Rare-Groove-Legenden – Album im Gatefold-Cover inklusive einer exklusiven Bonus-7".
Für den passenden Soundtrack sorgen einige der Festival-DJs bei einer besonderen Back-to-Back-Session, darunter Frankfurt Funk (Funkfreaks), DJ Elohim (Balsa São Paulo), Naughty NMX (Dusty Donuts), DJ Goce (Dusty Donuts Macedonia) und Eclectic Funk Brother (Soulkitchen).
Nur zwei Tage später folgt das große Festival auf dem Spielbudenplatz (Sommerbühne), im Mojo Jazz Café, auf dem Mojo Square, im Kiez Garden und im Sommersalon. Über 20 internationale Vinyl-DJs rollen den Klangteppich aus Soul, Funk, Rare Groove, Boogie Funk, Latin Funk, Nu Disco und Acid Jazz für alle tanzwilligen Soulsisters und Funkbrothers aus. Dazu gibt es feinstes Soulfood, Streetfood und die Zusammenkunft der unverwechselbaren 45Soulciety-Community.
Der Eintritt zum Festival ist frei.
