Das Hamburger Label geniesst nicht nur weltweiten Kultstatus unter DJs, Soul-Fans und in der HipHop/Breakin' Community - eine wichtige Säule seines Schaffens ist Filmmusik. Neben der Produktion von Funk mit cineastischen Elementen als imaginärem Soundtrack, Kollaborationen wie mit Filmkomponist-Legende Peter Thomas und der (Wieder-)Veröffentlichung von Library Music sind es vor allem die oft unbesungenen Platzierungen von Mocambo-Songs in großen Film- und Serienproduktionen, die an diesem Abend gewürdigt werden sollen. Die Musik des Hamburger Label-Kollektivs und ihren verschiedenen Gruppen lief unter anderem in Anatomie eines Falls, Better Call Saul, High Potential, Second Act sowie unzähligen Dokumentation und Werbespots.
Zusammen mit Lichtkünstler Harm Bremer (Aerosol Light) laden Label und Band die Zuschauer auf eine einmalige filmische Konzertreise ein.
Im Anschluss an das Konzert gibt eine After Show Party in der Metropolis Bar mit Musik von Schallplatte, Ausstellung and Get-Together.
