Das Projekt ist sozusagen zwischen den Terrassen Venedigs und den Straßen von Florenz entstanden und zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass es ohne Rhythmusinstrument auskommt. Dadurch können die beiden Musiker neue Klangwirkungen und -farben ausprobieren. Dabei treten sie in einen intensiven Dialog und stellen ihre starke gemeinsame künstlerische Identität in den Vordergrund. Das Repertoire umfasst eigens für diese Besetzung komponierte Originalstücke sowie Neuinterpretationen berühmter Werke der italienischen Musik.
