- **Event Description**: You are invited to join us for a very special pre-festival gathering, at dusk on the next full moon...About this EventArtist Katie Lock is in residence here at the Field Shelter this week, creating a very special artwork in response to our local landscape and its stories. The resulting artwork will displayed in Haltwhistle Town centre as part of the upcoming Hadrian's Wall Art Trail, but on Friday 28th September you will have the opportunity to preview and take part in a ceremony to activate the art work on its journey from studio to display.Under the rising full moon a dusk banner ceremony will follow Haltwhistle's picturesque Burn as we journey, celebrate and awaken the lively history of the centre of Britain, through this winding nature pathway.Meet at 6.30pm at Field Shelter (just a hop across the road from the Milecastle Inn). The blessing and promenade shall take roughly one hour along a pleasantly pathed route, arriving at the heart of modern day Haltwhistle.The scenic bus service AD122 leaves from Haltwhistle Train Station throughout the day including 16:00 or 18:00 arriving at the Milecastle Inn 8 minutes later.
