Joe will also be on site with his sauna/cold tub for the adults.Day Retreat - Come join us for the day. In time for the first workshops at 10am until after the Fire Ceremony at 7pmAdult ticket + 1 child goes free! The campsite is set in the middle of the family farm where the owner Charlie spent a lot of his time exploring the woodlands and fields as a child, in fact the campsite meadow was the first place he ever went camping!The campsite itself sits amongst a beautiful wildflower meadow, surrounded by old woodlands in the very heart of a working arable farm in the Essex countryside. There are many things on offer not only from the campsite but also the farm itself. You can explore the lake and waterfall just a stone's throw away, walk around the neighbouring nature reserve or simply relax amongst the wildflower meadow in the summer sun.The campsite is off-grid and takes as many eco-friendly measures as possible to lessen its impact on the local ecosystems and environment in general.Why we are so excited to share this retreat with you:When I started running retreats 3 years ago, I did it because I could see how many of my clients struggled to look after themselves, not prioritising their mental and physical health, mainly because they felt ‘selfish’ for taking the time away from the family to do so. But we know the more we take care of ourselves as best we can, the better able we are to take care of our families. The happier and healthier we are, the more this ripples out to all around us.Over the last 3 years, The Wellness Collective team has continued to grow and the events we offer has extended to monthly Community Clinics where we offer 121 treatments (with coffee, cake and conversation with lovely people thrown in). We have supported hundreds of busy mums, helping them to try out a range of holistic therapies to see what works for them, in community locations to make prices as affordable as possible. Many of our guests have come back time and time again, bringing their friends, daughters, sisters, mums (and a few partners) meaning that our retreat family has grown… alongside our Vision…. for a space where families can learn, play and enjoy time in nature, try out wellness workshops, make friends and have fun together (with no devices needed!)We are so thrilled to bring this vision to life at Sparrows, which is a truly beautiful place - where you can enjoy wild meadows, woodland, hammocks under the tree, hire a Tipi or bring your own camper/tent. You will find fantastic facilities (immaculate showers, communal outdoor kitchens) with everything built by hand and with love by the owner Charlie.
