If you like your unique and unusual beers, then you’ll want to come and sample a good selection! You’ll also find craft beers, ciders, and of course prosecco, wines, and gin for those with a more delicate palate. ***The Meadow*** The Tractor Shack will be set up on the meadow serving non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and ice creams. There’s be a climbing frame for children, shaded seating, picnic spots, garden games, and ride-on toys. Paddy, Smith, Crumble and Hassanali — our mischievous pygmy goats — will definitely be hoping for a fuss from visitors. (Goat food will be available until they’ve eaten their own weight in pellets… at which point we may have to slow it down.) ***The Camping*** Who needs glamping at a beer festival? Our pitches are simple and back-to-basics, but we welcome tents, roof tents, campers and caravans - all within safe stumbling distance of the beer tent. ***The Location*** We’re right on the outskirts of beautiful Castle Hedingham, just a short walk from the village centre (a little longer if you’re coming from Sible). We’re also within 30 minutes of Sudbury, Braintree and Haverhill. There’s on-site parking, and it’s easy for taxis to drop off and pick up. The Weekend Run-Down ***Friday | 4pm–10.30pm*** Kick off the weekend when the bar opens at 4pm. Grab your festival glass and start tasting. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening, with the food truck Tea and Brisket arriving later on. ***Saturday | 12pm–10.30pm*** Is it even a beer festival without a hog roast? Served from early afternoon, with pizza from Pizza on the Green later in the evening. Enjoy live music from fantastic local band Washed Up. ***Sunday | 12pm–close *** A relaxed final day to drink up what’s left while listening to another brilliant local group, Kegs. A selection of classic English picnic food will also be available.
