Through lectures, demonstrations and extensive hands-on training, participants will work with:

Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology – Level 2
• Segmental mandibulectomy
• Rostral maxillectomy (uni-/bilateral)
• Commissuroplasty and alternative techniques
• Collaboration with pathologists and oncologists
• Placement of feeding tubes (nasoesophageal, esophagostomy)

Oral and Maxillofacial Trauma – Level 2
• Alternatives to transoral intubation (transmylohyoid, pharyngotomy, tracheotomy)
• Interdental wiring techniques and bis-acryl composite splinting for jaw fracture repair
• Wire cerclages and internal/external bis-acryl composite splints
• Intraosseous wiring techniques and external skeletal fixation
