The Halifax Urban Sketchers will be meeting up again this Sunday! We will meet up at the Scotia Square Mall Food court! 

For those who are too busy to attend over the holidays, there is always the option to sketch from life from home and show us what is going on with you for the holidays. Please keep in mind that sketching items found at home should tell a story rather than resemble a still-life sketch.

When: December 28, 2025, from 11am - 1pm

Where: Scotia Square, 5201 Duke St, Halifax, in the food court near the McDonald’s. For directions Google “Scotia Square” 

Meeting location: In the food court near the McDonald’s (note McDonald’s does not open until 11 am if you arrive without coffee and the mall is closed).  

Please note that this is a free sketching event. Just show up in food court near the McDonald’s on Sunday and look for the group of friendly people with sketchbooks. Similar to previous outings, you may want to bring a sketchbook, pens, pencils, erasers, sunblock, etc.  Feel free to bring a friend as well!

Sketchers can find something interesting to sketch in the food court, in the nearby area outside or pedways, or by looking out the windows overlooking the streets, etc.
