- **Event Description**: Looking to try something new this summer? Come discover one of Halifax’s most welcoming and enjoyable sports at the Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club!

Join us on a Sunday evenings from 5:00–7:00 PM (starting May 31st and running through to September 27th) for our weekly annual Open House.  We will show you around the clubhouse and grounds, and then get into an introductory training session where you can learn the basics of the game and you will see why lawn bowling is a sport for all ages and skill levels. 

No experience is required and all equipment is provided - the only thing you have to do is wear flat-soled shoes and bring your enthusiasm!

Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring the whole family and see why so many people are discovering lawn bowls.

Please note that it is WLBC's policy that all visitors and guests attending an event at the club will be required to sign-in to our Guest Logbook and provide your contact information and contact in case of emergency while you are at the club. 

While pre-registration is not required - it certainly helps us plan for numbers of participants, saves you time from Signing the Guest Logbook when you arrive, and additionally we can contact you in case of cancellation due to weather.  We now have an Open House Pre-Registration Google Form available at: https://forms.gle/AJVEo6r3D3Z5GM2J7
