The North End Business Association is excited to announce the first Retro Roller Disco on The Commons, with support from Halifax Regional Municipality, Quinpool Road, and Hard Patch!​What's happeningFor one night, the Oval becomes a roller disco, with lights and live DJs that make people want to move!​​Come for a few laps, come for the whole night, or just come to watch from the side with a warm drink! ​Best costume prizesSequins, satin, tube socks, headbands, flares, whatever "retro" means to you, we want to see it. We'll be giving out prizes for the best costume! Don't forget to dress up your furry friends.​Photo boothA photo booth will be on site to capture your Roller Disco look! Bring the group, bring the kids, bring the friend who swore they weren't dressing up. ​​SkatesBringing your own skates & helmet is recommended; however, there will be a limited number of skates & helmets available for rent, free of charge, at the Oval. Be sure to bring your ID for the rental, and please note that skate rentals are first come, first serve, so show up early!
