OutFest is the largest Queer performance festival in Mi'kma'ki/Atlantic Canada, with local, regional, and national artists performing at venues across the city.
The lineup includes an award-winning Main Stage production, "F*cking Trans Women," by Zoe Comeau, "re:strain," an experimental sound/performance piece combining elements of BDSM with electroacoustic, as well as "Camp Menses," a theatre and Clown show that follows a pair of tweens at an overnight summer camp, and so much more.
OutFest 2026 will also include the launch of our inQubator Program, a new 2-Year Development Program, with "Fortunate Child," by Jessie Walker presented as a Workshop presentation.
Do you live on the South Shore? This year we have launched our first South Shore Bus Trip. This includes travel to & from Halifax, as well as a ticket to out Main Stage, starting at just $20.
