The guiding philosophy of this group is that every cosplayer has something to share, and we can all learn from each others' successes (and failures!) After all, there is no such thing as a degree in cosplay. We're all making this up as we go along! In that spirit, we gather together once a month to discuss aspects of cosplay over drinks (alcoholic and non!) The evening consists of show and tell, followed by small group discussions on the topic at hand. We cover all different areas of fabrication, but we also talk about things like working with photographers or preparing for costume contests.Cosplay over Beverages is all about Creativity, Community and Capacity. We aim to encourage each other, get to know one another and build up everyone's skill levels together. After all, chances are no one has ever tried to make that exact thing with those exact skills, with that exact budget before. Every build is unique, and every cosplayer has valuable insight. We meet the first Wednesday of every month in Halifax." } ] } ] ```
