- **Event Description**: Join us for our Library in Parks monthly hike series as we explore one of our many County Parks!About this EventJoin us for a nature hike at our newest park edition: Don Horsley County Park at Tunitas Creek Beach!Join us for a 3 mile hike along the trail that loops down to the beach and back up on the other side. We recommend you wear layers and hiking boots and bring water. We will meet at the main parking lot. We will be hiking on sand, dirt, and gravel surfaces. There will be moderately steep declines and inclines on this hike. You must reserve a ticket here to attend the hike as we have limited staff and space to host this event. Parking is free for hike participants.This is part of our 2026 programming in partnership with San Mateo County Libraries!Please Note: Heavy rain (more than 0.25 inch) will cancel this event.Questions: Contact Katherine Wright at kewright@smcgov.org.By registering for this event you are giving our staff permission to take images of you and your attendees during the event. If you wish to not be photographed, please let a staff person on site know at the beginning of the event.
