Welcome to the HEMA training weekend at Vinter 2026!
Halden HEMA, Fekteklubben Frie Duellister and Vikverir welcomes you to the 2026 edition of Vinter 2026 - HEMA Training Weekend!
Vinter is the perfect event to meet other HEMA enthusiasts and gain experience as a practicioner. The weekend will feature multiple workshops in different disciplines, free sparring, games and sharp cutting! Our goals with Vinter is to bring the Norwegian and Nordic HEMA community together and to be relevant for all HEMA practitioners, regardless of skill level or discipline!
The last few years we have been 30+ HEMA participants and growing every year! We hope to see as many clubs as possible! We have already started talking to instructors and we have some great workshops in mind!
Vinter is also a long running reenactment event, while the reenactors are outside fighting in the forest we will have the whole hall to ourselves for HEMA and in the evening we will share space with them for our evening workshops.
The event is very cheap, meals are provided and you can sleep in the hall! See the main event for more information and to stay up to date.
