We’re delighted to announce the next exhibition “Mike Lord’s Box of Paints” here at BL6Studios in Horwich

Opening Friday evening, 26th September 2025 with wine and nibbles, and continuing through the weekend:

FRIDAY PREVIEW Wine & Nibbles 6:30pm - 9pm
Sat 27th & Sun 28th, 12 noon - 4pm

Since first picking up a brush in 2018, Mike has built a reputation for his rich, storytelling canvases work that often blurs the line between the real and the imagined. 

The exhibition features more than 20 new and recent works.

A few titles from the catalogue include:

- Fly Me to the Moon – escapism, imagination, and magic.
- Going Home – a trilogy exploring the many meanings of belonging.
- Sunset Over the Bay – colour, light, and quiet companionship.
- The Witching Hour – a bold play with palette and atmosphere.

Mike’s work has been shown at Skipton Art Fair, Cedar Farm, Withnell Fold, Clitheroe Contemporary Arts Festival, Blackburn Art Gallery – and of course here at BL6 Studios (back in 2024), where he continues to surprise and evolve.

This promises to be a warm, engaging weekend of art and conversation. 
We’d love for you to join us and step inside Mike’s Box of Paints.
