Ravagers are a rabid punk rock and roll band from Baltimore Maryland. They have been ripping up a dust storm of debauchery for nearly a decade.

Dressed in leather and denim, the Filth City foursome may look like menaces to society, but rest assured, their ferocious blend of punk fury and rock ’n’ roll nonchalance make them a threat to not just the laws of man, but the laws of nature.

Here is a group that doesn’t smile, so much as it snarls. It doesn’t sing so much as it sneers. Masters of their craft, these cretins play nicely but never play nice. They don’t entertain their audience, they engulf it.

The Downstrokes produce a music that fuses decades of sonic rebellion into a blistering, four-on-the-floor garage punk sound. Based in Frostburg, the band channels the raw energy of 60s garage rock, the gritty swagger of 70s New York punk, the ferocity of 80s LA hardcore, and the melodic hooks of 90s post-punk into a style that’s both nostalgic and defiantly fresh.
