Pool Roll Session at Hagerstown YMCA

The cost is $20 for adults 18 or older, $5 for kids and teens 5-17, and under 5 free. You must be an MDCC Member to attend. Membership is still a bargain at $20 per household, membership applications will be available at the pool session to join or you can access the online application here. This is not a one-on-one scenario but there will be volunteers to help with roll instruction. Rules for the pool, 1) Pull you floatation out and Clean your boat, even if you think it is clean, and make sure to clean under the seat. There will be a hose outside of the pool entrance. Boats will be inspected prior to entry to ensure they are clean. 2) We can use the pool area locker rooms, and only the pool area locker rooms, to change and shower. Gear cannot be taken into the locker room. 3) No street shoes on the pool deck or in the pool. 4) Proper pool attire required, ie no jeans or cotton shirts, yes clean paddling clothing and shoes are fine. 5) No free swimming during the pool session, pool time is for working on kayak/canoe skills only. 6) No phones in or near the pool. 7) No seal launching from the sides of the pool.
