About the event

Amherst Ballet Storytime & Movement Program
Join us November 22nd at 10:30 am in our Children's Reading Room for a Storytime & Movement Program given by Amherst Ballet and featuring the Slavic Folktale about Snegurochka the Snow Maiden.

Mikayla Archambeau, director of Amherst Ballet, will read a Slavic folktale about Snegurochka, the Snow Maiden, while one of her dancers performs a couple of short variations from parts of the story. This will be followed by an invitation for children and caregivers to join the company for some creative movement, exploring how we can create scenes and tell stories through movement. The program will finish with a question and answer session for any of the attendees with questions about ballet, dancing, choreographing, or anything else!
