Teapot Trust provides vital art therapy that helps children and young people with chronic illnesses process their emotions, cope with their conditions, and improve their mental well-being. Through creative expression, these young individuals find a safe space to explore their feelings and build resilience.
I first came across Teapot Trust when one of its founders, Laura Young, joined my Zumba class many years ago. Since hearing about her and her family’s experience and the important role that art played throughout their daughter Verity's illness, I’ve been keen to find a way to support the charity - and Laura and I agreed that Zumba and Afternoon Tea seemed like a perfect fit!
So we would love you to join us for a family friendly, fun-filled hour of Zumba followed by a delicious afternoon tea (and BYOB) on Saturday 25 October at 2-5.30pm in East Linton Community Hall. Numbers are limited and bookings will close on 18 October so get your tickets booked quickly!
HOW TO BOOK.....book your ticket(s) via fit-form.co.uk/book-online
HOW TO PAY.....pay for your ticket(s) via teapot-trust.org/fundraisers/shake-and-cake (£20 adult, £12 for under 12s). Don't forget to put your name against your donation so we know you've paid for the tickets!
And if you can't make it on the day but would still like to donate, that would be greatly appreciated too.
