Gypsum Daze Deadlift Competition

Help us break-in the new platform and deadlift bar by joining our Gypsum Daze Deadlift Competition! Winners will receive one adult’s-worth compensation for a monthly membership at the Gypsum Rec Center ($65). Conventional deadlifts only.

Four categories available, with one winner for each category!

Women’s Bodyweight
Women’s Open
Men’s Bodyweight
Men’s Open
Bodyweight Categories

Bodyweight will be measured pre-lift. Weight lifted will then be divided by bodyweight. Highest strength to weight ratio wins.
Safety equipment such as belts or braces are permitted.
Grip enhancers such as straps are not permitted, with the exception of chalk.
Open Categories

No weight classes – the one who pulls the most weight wins.
All straps, belts, braces, etc. are permitted.
No registration required! Come by the Gypsum Recreation Center between 6pm-8pm on Thursday, July 17th to participate.
