A free creative experience for kids and families

This autumn, Gympie Regional Gallery is excited to host QAGOMA’s Art Pop‑Up: Express Yourself - a free, hands‑on creative experience inspired by the work of internationally recognised artist Vipoo Srivilasa.

Presented as part of QAGOMA’s statewide program (formerly Kids on Tour), Express Yourself invites kids and families to explore creativity through making, drawing and playful imagination — no bookings or prior art experience required.

Vipoo Srivilasa is a Thailand‑born, Melbourne‑based ceramic artist known for his joyful, participatory artworks and much‑loved “flower bear” characters. Positivity, creativity and accessibility are at the heart of his practice, and this pop‑up brings key elements of his upcoming Children’s Art Centre exhibition to the Gympie Gallery.

What to expect:
- Self‑guided art‑making and drawing activities
- Family‑friendly, relaxed drop‑in sessions
- All materials provided
- A welcoming space to create together

When: Tuesday 14 – Saturday 18 April
Time: 10am - 4pm Tues - Fri; 10am - 2pm Sat
Where: Gympie Regional Gallery
Cost: Free
