GYMPIE STATE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

For: Year 10 Class of 1986 & Year 11 Class of 1987 & Year 12 Class of 1988

WHEN: Saturday 21st March 2026

TIME: 6pm – 10.30pm

LOCATION: Soma Soma Espresso Café, 77 Mellor Street, Gympie

DRESS CODE: Smart Casual

Students, partners and teachers welcome.

REUNION COST: $80 per person includes meal & entertainment

MENU: Asian fusion Feast - canapes on arrival, main meal grazing table with a range of hot & cold dishes, dessert to finish. Gluten free and vegetarian options available. Meal included in reunion fee.

DRINKS: Soma Soma’s licensed bar provides high quality Australian red, white and sparkling wines, beers, cocktails, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. Drinks available to purchase on the night.   

ENTERTAINMENT: A fun Pub choir lead by local choir director Sarah Harvey with one of our all-time favourite songs from our era. This will be soon after Canapes are served and run for about an hour so there will still be plenty of time for catching up with each other.

A Note on Attendance & Bookings:
As this is a ticketed event, payment covers the Asian fusion feast and the Pub Choir entertainment. To be fair to everyone who has already booked and to ensure the caterers have accurate numbers, please note that all attendees must be pre-paid. We'd love to see you there, but we are unable to accommodate pop-ins on the night.

SONG PLAY LIST FOR THE NIGHT: 
Please send in a couple of your favourite songs from the era and we’ll look at including these in the play list for the background music for the evening.

This reunion in 2026 will be the 38th year reunion. It's not quite 40 years but you never know what will happen in the next two years and we’re keen to have one now. The last get together was in 2018.
