ANNUAL TRASH OFF DAY GUIDELINES
GUTHRIE OKLAHOMA
Friday, April 10, 2026, 9am-12pm and 1pm-4:45pm (closed for lunch12-1)
Saturday, April 11, 2026, 8am-4:45pm (no loads will be accepted after 4:45)
Convenience Center: 1506 N Academy Road
EMI will be participating in the event again this year and will be accepting special waste items on Saturday April the 11th from 8 am to Noon only.
•All participating persons must be residents of Guthrie
•Free disposal will not be extended to Commercial Waste customers (contractors, businesses, etc.) or to persons who do not have residence in Guthrie
•Participants must provide a current City of Guthrie utility bill and a photo ID
•Participants using trucks must limit truck size to 1 ton or under
•Participants will not be allowed to utilize dump beds or dump-type trailers due to placement of free dump boxes
•Participants may utilize bumper pull trailers up to 16 feet in length
•Participants wishing to dispose of brush may do so with the following conditions:
1. All limbs will be of 10-inch diameter or less
2. All limbs must be cut into lengths of no more than 6 feet
•Participants wishing to dispose of appliances may do so with the following conditions
1.Any and all refrigerant must be removed in a manner prescribed by law
2.All compressors, capacitors, etc. must be removed from the appliance
SPECIAL WASTE ITEMS for This Event Only:
• Latex paint: MUST be dry. No liquid latex accepted on either day.
•Used motor oil
•Waste tires: SATURDAY ONLY with the following conditions:
1.No commercial tires will be accepted (i.e. tires from dealers, salvage yards or service stations)
2. No exempt tires will be accepted (i.e. large semi-truck tires, tractor tires, large off-road tires or equipment tires such as fork lift tires, backhoe tires, etc.)
3.No tires mounted on rims will be accepted
Convenience Center personnel reserve the right to refuse loads brought in for profit
These special waste items will be accepted by EMI on Saturday April 11th

12)Oil Based Aerosol and Hobby Paints
13)Spray Paint
14)Propane Cylinders

16)Coleman Fuel (camping fuel)
17)Pool Chemicals
18)Fluorescent Bulbs
19)Batteries
20)Shotgun / Pistol / Rifle Bullets (.50 caliber and less)
