Camp Endres Senior Camp: Because being a teenager is hard enough, and type 1 diabetes shouldn’t mean doing it alone.
Being a teen comes with big emotions, big changes, and big challenges. Add type 1 diabetes to the mix, and it can feel overwhelming fast. At Camp Endres Senior, no one has to face that alone. Our goal is to create a family-like community where teens feel supported, understood, and empowered while being surrounded by others who truly "get it."
Camp Endres Senior is designed for teens living with type 1 diabetes who want to connect, have fun, and just be themselves. Campers build strong friendships, share real experiences, and gain confidence alongside peers who understand daily life with diabetes - no explanations required.
So… Do You Just Talk About Diabetes All Day?
Short answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Yes, campers take part in daily, age-appropriate education sessions to help them better understand and manage type 1 diabetes, but that’s only a small part of the experience. The rest of camp is packed with nonstop fun, adventure, and classic camp energy.
