In China and in ethnic communities around the world, the Lunar New Year is the most important and most festive holiday of the year. Make sure to NOT wear black as it is bad luck during the celebration. 

The celebration begins with a traditional Chinese lunch of a non-spicy chicken dish, along with egg rolls and dessert.
