Hinglish Comedy play SINGLE MINGLE, a simple light hearted story that brings home questions affecting our lives today, will be held at EPICENTRE, Apparel House, Sector 44, Gurgaon, at 6:00 pm & 8:30 pm on 30th January 2016.
Conceptualised & Directed by Smita Bharti and Padma Damodaran and a Dream Dare Do & Bharti Creativez production, English comedy play Single Mingle is a story of 3 best friends Harman Patel (Honey), Francesca Batliwaala (Fanny), Binod Sachdev (Bunny). Passionate bikers – hikers, who are out for one last hurrah in the mountains to celebrate themselves and each other, in a place they love the most, with the people they love most, doing things they love, TOGETHER. When they return life, will change, so will their loves, for tomorrow two will be married and only one will be left ‘single’.

So, acutely aware of their last time together as ‘singles’, every day is a party, every second a blast, they’re determined to make it memorable for one another, make memories with each other! Until now, where delayed by a landslide, they are stuck in a cottage, near the Khardungla Pass.
The cast includes Kitu Gidwani (has Worked in movies like "Fashion" and "Earth". Also has won the Best Actress award Best Actress in 1998 in a major French film festival for "Dance of the Wind"), Rituraj Singh (has worked in many Daily Soaps including Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, 'Kstreet Pali Hill') and Amit Dolawat (has Worked on stage, ad films , television or films). eScript support is by Aditi Kapadia and Sandeep Verma. Technical Team includes Sangeet Srivastva, Kaizad Gherda, Nitin Bharadwaj, Sonal Kharade, Naina Kapur, Nita soni, Kapil Singh, Balram Maitey and the Producer is Aakash Chander.
A Creative Director, playwright, theatre and multi-media practitioner, Smita translates her extensive experience as a social activist into performance art through theatre, multimedia productions and films. She engages people in the art of storytelling and role playing that enable re scripting of personal narratives and arrive at action points that lead to sustainable peace building. She is a certified trainer for Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation from INTRAC Oxford UK, Conflict Management from Kurve Institute, Wustrow, Germany, Trainer of Trainers for Market Access for SMEs from Traidcraft, UK, and a Rotary World Peace Fellow.
An alumnus of East 15 Acting School, London, she is also the co-founder/co-convenor of The Drama School, Mumbai. . A former business journalist, Padma is an actor, writer, director, choreographer and trainer. She has directed Main Zinda Hoon, a play with the transgender community of Mumbai, and Black Snow, a burlesque clubbing show in London. She has written and performed her solo show Motipori, the Magic of Me, and the screenplay for the film Parindey that was shot in Tihar J*il. She has appeared on the Indian version of Sesame Street, Gali Gali Sim Sim, been a narrator for a BBC World documentary and been nominated for twice for the best supporting actress award at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards.
