Workshop DescriptionBig feelings can be confusing for kids — excitement, frustration, disappointment, nerves, joy, irritation… they show up all day long! In this playful, age-appropriate Life Skills workshop, children learn how to notice their emotions, name them, understand them, and handle them in healthy ways.Through fun games, creative activities, and simple regulation strategies, kids begin building emotional awareness — a skill that supports friendships, schooling, communication, and confidence.Designed for the winter months when routines shift and moods fluctuate, this session gently teaches children how to understand what’s happening “inside,” and what they can do to feel better.? Session Plan:? Warm-Up: Understanding Our FeelingsA playful introduction activity that helps kids explore how emotions show up in the body and in everyday moments.? Interactive Games & Hands-on ActivitiesA series of movement, expression and reflection-based games that help children recognise different emotions, practise naming feelings, understand intensity levels, and learn simple regulation tools.? Wrap-Up Reflection CircleA guided sharing round where children express what they discovered about their emotions and learn how to communicate needs in a calm, confident way.? Learning GoalsBy the end of the workshop, children will be able to:1. Identify and name a wider range of emotions2. Understand how feelings show up in the body3. Practise simple calming and self-regulation techniques4. Communicate emotional needs more clearly5. Build empathy for themselves and others6. Grow confidence in handling “big feelings” in daily life? Important Instructions1. Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session.2. Limited waiting outside our studio classroom; no waiting inside EuroKids reception or classrooms.3. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably.4. Carry a water bottle and dress your child in comfortable clothes — it might get a little dirty!5. Make sure your child eats well before the session, as there won’t be a snack break.6. Workshops run even with 1 child. If your kid prefers a group, just ask us about sign-ups before registering.7. If you’d prefer your child’s photos not to be shared on social media, simply inform us when you arrive.8. We’re located on the 2nd floor inside EuroKids Pre-School. If you face any difficulty, just ask the EuroKids staff.
