Mountain Valley Arts Council will host Triple Play on Thursday, October 23 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Errol Allan Park in downtown Guntersville as part of its Fall Concerts in the Park series. Bring your fans, folding chairs, and friends. Lena’s Rolling Kitchen will provide concessions.
Triple Play has been rocking the Huntsville/Guntersville/Decatur and Hartselle area Since May of 2022! They are known as a no frills Classic Rock and Long Sets sometimes three hours before breaking but for this concert, it will be two hours with a brief intermission for door prize drawings. They continue to add classics to their setlists and will bring “Classic Rock the way it Should Be!”
Triple Play's roots include Scott Wagnon’s group “Fender Bender in 2018, and members from First Fellowship and Praise Band of First Baptist Church of Huntsville.
Current band members include Scott Wagnon on guitar and vocals , Tony Antoine on drums, and Chris Thompson on bass and vocals who have played in venues such as Shagnasty’s, Diamonds, the Crape Myrtle Festival, the Ardmore Car Show, and best of all, WhistleStop.
This concert is funded through concert attendee donations, MVAC member donations, and the City of Guntersville.
