Sat, April 25
9:00 am - 2:30-ish pm
Arrive early and hang with your Saleen buddies, chat and talk cars.
12:00 Noon - cookout at the Earwood Pavilion amidst the lakeside cabins, and mid-afternoon short cruise (pre-registration required - $20/person).
5:30-ish pm – wings and brews Saturday evening at the lakeside cabin pavilion (pay on your own). Once again, we'll have live entertainment til 10:00 pm.
The cost of the cookout will be $20 per person for members. If you are not a current member of the SCOA you will be required to purchase a one-time event membership for $10 that will cover you and your guests, plus the $20 per head. The funds will be used for event insurance, pavilion rental, and the food.
As for food we’ll have burgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, and potato salad. Drinks will be water, soft drinks, and tea.
Please let us know if you’re planning to attend by completing the registration. What we need each of you to bring is your enthusiasm, a chair and an appetite!
Once again, our host location and accommodations will be at picturesque Lake Guntersville State Park. Be sure to book accommodations by February 20 before the room block gets released.
Reservations
Lakeside Cabins - SCOA will assign cabins based requests for full cabins with arrivals starting Wed evening and staying through Sat eve (checking out Sun morn). If you are interested in a lakeside cabin, call or text Jay Ronca at 404-788-7162. Once assigned, the club will contact you separately to secure your deposit for the lakeside cabin. You will have 72 hours to pay that deposit. You will pay the balance to the SCOA no later than 1 week before the event start date.
Lodge Rooms and Chalets
If you wish to stay in a mountain bluff chalet or state park lodge room, you will call the State Park Reservation line to secure these rooms directly at (256) 571-5440, press 1 for reservations and tell them you're with Saleen Club of America.
We have arranged for a room block of the following lodging accommodations arriving Wed April 22 for 4 nights, with nightly rates of:
Lake Side Cabins - $189 (1 handicap & 1 pet friendly also available)
Mountain Top Chalets-$162 (1 handicap & 1 pet friendly also available)
Double Queen Lodge Bluff View Rooms - $148
Please note that room rates are subject to lodging tax, city, and state surcharges, as well as a 4.25% resort fee. Rates reflect occupancy by up to 6 people. There is a $10.00 per person charge for each additional person. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm and your guests may check out any time before 11:00 am. As mentioned above, please note that a club will contact you to secure a non-refundable deposit for lakeside cabin reservations. Deposits are the sum of one night’s lodging plus taxes and must be paid with 72 hours of the club contacting you with your cabin assignment (approximately $228.00).
