Science Café on the Coast will host a presentation “Going Wild” on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Orange Grove Public Library. Elliot Fackler, Outreach Coordinator at the Hattiesburg Zoo, will discuss what it takes to care for animals. Learn how enrichment, training, and daily husbandry support the health and happiness of the zoo’s residents — and enjoy some fun along the way.
This program is intended for teens and adults, but children are still welcome.
This event offers those with minimal background in science the chance to meet and discuss scientific issues in a relaxed social setting. Admission is free and open to the public with light refreshments available.
Orange Grove Public Library is located at 12135 Old Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39503.
