The Choosing is an invitation to gather in circle, share ceremonial cacao, and become intentional about what we carry forward and what we are ready to leave behind. As the season itself shifts, we’ll use this moment to reflect on what has run its course, what still belongs, and what we are consciously choosing to carry with us into what comes next.

This is the second experience in our seasonal cacao series, following The Pause Between, but you do not need to have attended the first gathering to join us.

Together, we’ll slow down and create space to listen inward. Through ceremonial cacao, reflection, meaningful conversation, and guided practices, we’ll explore what this season has revealed and what we want to consciously choose as we step into the season.

Just an opportunity to recognize where you are, honor what has been, and choose what deserves to come with you.

Cacao has been shared in ceremony for thousands of years, with roots in the ancient cultures of Central and South America. More than a drink, it was something people gathered around to connect, to mark meaningful moments, and to listen a little more closely to the heart.

Ceremonial cacao is cacao in a much purer form than the chocolate we know today. Naturally rich in theobromine, it gently increases circulation and creates a warmth in the body that many describe as heart-opening.

There’s something beautiful about sitting together with a warm cup in our hands, slowing down, and allowing cacao to be part of the conversation between where we’ve been and where we’re choosing to go.
