🎤 Something Big Is Coming to Gulf Shores!!
For the first time in a long-time, a county-wide candidate forum is coming right here to Gulf Shores — live, in person, and free to the public!
WFUZ-TV’s Candidate Showcase is bringing Baldwin County candidates directly to our community, giving people in this immediate area a chance to hear from — and talk to — the candidates who want to represent them without having to travel across the county or sort through political noise. This is your chance to interact with county-wide candidates, right here, close to home.

🎶 How the Night Works
Hour One: Live Music + Candidate Meet-and-Greet
The night starts off relaxed and fun with live music and a social hour. Candidates from across Baldwin County and the state will be set up around the room, and this is your chance to:
-Walk up and talk to them one-on-one
-Ask questions directly
-Pick up campaign info
-Get a feel for who they really are
No speeches. No pressure. Just real conversations.
Hour Two: Live, Filmed Candidate Interviews
The second hour transitions into a live, podcast-style candidate showcase. Candidates will take turns participating in filmed interviews. Each candidate will have the opportunity to highlight their platform and priorities.
Candidates may also answer questions from the audience.
This portion of the event will be recorded for broadcast, but the format stays conversational, fast-paced, and easy to follow — similar to listening to a live podcast with your community in the room.

If someone is running to represent Baldwin County in any capacity — county, state, or federal — this event is a chance to hear directly from them in one place, on one night.

This is the first county-wide candidate showcase of its kind to take place in the Gulf Shores area this election cycle, and we’re excited to bring it here.
Instead of relying on ads, headlines, or social media clips, voters in this area now have a nearby, accessible way to hear from candidates and make informed decisions ahead of the May 19, 2026 Primary Election.
